Research Themes

Semiconductor science is a phenomenally broad area of research that underpins many of the current activities in Photonics, Nanoscience, Optoelectronics and Energy Research. The Semiconductors group brings together the heads of several research groups at Oxford University who between them share an exceptional portfolio of semiconductor research across a variety of scientific disciplines. The group members have an interest both in the fundamental science and the potential for applications of a range of materials and composites made of organic and inorganic semiconductors and their nanostructures.
